Geo-Environmental Consultant

A multidisciplinary environmental consultancy based in Peterborough are seeking an eager Geo-Environmental Consultant to join their team on a variety of new contaminated land and ground investigation projects. With other 20 years of experience in the industry and a continuously expanding and developing team, you'll be provided with excellent opportunities to progress in your career.

Responsibilities

As a Geo-Environmental Consultant you'll be carrying out site investigations, contaminated land assessments, groundwater and gas monitoring and Phase 1 Desktop Studies. You'll also be writing factual and interpretive reports, and (depending on seniority) reviewing them. Consultants will also be required to liaise closely with clients and train junior members of the team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a geotechnical/geo-environmental engineer or consultant.
• A degree in geology, geoscience, environmental engineering, environmental science, geotechnical engineering or earth sciences.
• Hold a clean and valid UK Driving licence.
• Live in/near to Peterborough.
• Full right to work in the UK is essential.
