Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Daventry, UK is seeking Manufacturing Operators for the Genset department. You will assemble and wire diesel and gas generator electrical components using drawings and standards.

The role is on-site, 37.5 hours weekly with rotating shifts (morning and afternoon). Starting salary £27,942 per year plus shift allowance, on a fixed-term contract up to 24 months with potential to go permanent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some work experience or on-the-job training is expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing machinery and production equipment safely while meeting quality and productivity standards.
• Assemble and wire diesel and gas generator electrical components to specification.
• Interpret electrical drawings and engineering documentation to perform tasks.
• Complete quality checks and ensure all stage documentation is accurate.
• Maintain high quality standards in line with business requirements.
• Report issues to supervisor promptly and liaise with production teams to maintain smooth operation.
