About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Generator Service Engineer to join them on a full time permanent basis working 8.00am – 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (overtime available and paid in addition). You must have indefinite leave to remain in the UK as sponsorship will not be considered.

You will be based around the Peterborough area and will be expected to travel to client sites across the UK. To be considered for this role you will have previous and recent generator service engineering experience.

Key responsibilities

As Generator Service Engineer, you will carry out diagnostics, servicing and repair in the workshop and on site with customers. You will build strong business relationships with your customer and will promote a professional company image at all times, meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

As well as generating servicing and repair, it is also essential that you have serviced & repaired other types of construction / plant machinery to be considered for this role. You will have proven relevant industry servicing experience. You will have a full driving licence as well as a forklift licence.
