Job summary

PoloWorks is recruiting for an AI Security Architect to own the security posture of AI tooling across the Marco Group from its Cheltenham base. The role covers Claude, Copilot, and AI-enabled architectures, with responsibility for risk assessment, data governance, and secure integration across business systems.

You will partner with the Group Head of Information Security to define controls, monitoring, and vendor due diligence for AI usage, ensuring compliance and safe pace within regulatory

Qualifications

• Strong background in information security architecture and cloud/SaaS security.
• Working knowledge of LLM and generative AI architectures and threat models.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as DORA, UK GDPR, ISO 27001 and NIST CSF.
• Experience running structured risk assessments and translating findings into controls.

Responsibilities

• Own the security configuration and hardening of Claude and Copilot across the full capability set.
• Design and run an AI risk assessment framework covering data classification and model access.
• Embed secure practices in AI-assisted development with secure coding standards.
• Assess AI features in third-party products as part of vendor due diligence.
• Report AI risk posture to senior leadership and support regulatory alignment.
