As we continue on our significant growth path, we are expanding our HR team and seeking a highly driven and professional individual who will fit right into our company’s culture.

Key Duties: Generalist HR Advisor
  • Provide first-line generalist HR advice and support on terms and conditions of employment and HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain systems and processes such as employee lifecycle, absence, training, recruitment, fixed-term contracts, redundancy, and redeployment.
  • Arrange and attend informal/formal meetings and hearings, ensuring all paperwork is accurate.
  • Provide advice and guidance on occupational health referrals, absence management issues, and return-to-work cases.
  • Support internal investigating officers in managing casework, including investigations into conduct, capability, and grievance matters.
  • Commission, interpret, and convey management information from HR systems in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support the HR Manager with organisational changes, including restructures, redundancy, and redeployment.
  • Build good working relationships with all line managers to better understand their needs and provide appropriate HR-related support.
  • Contribute to the review and development of HR policies and procedures within the legal framework of employment legislation.
  • Provide admin support where necessary.
  • Attend departmental meetings as required.
What you will need to be considered: Generalist HR Advisor
  • Certificate/Diploma in Human Resource Management or working towards it.
  • Experience of working as an HR Officer, supporting HR activities throughout the employee lifecycle, using HRIS and/or Time and Attendance software, and reporting HR metrics. Proficient user of MS Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of employment law and best practice HR. Evidence of CPD.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to use own initiative, prioritise tasks, and work unsupervised.
  • Team player who demonstrates a high level of commitment, adopts a flexible, positive, and proactive approach, and can demonstrate tenacity and assume accountability for their work.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Professional approach to work and when dealing with internal and external customers.
  • Good communication skills.
