EMR is hiring a General Yard Operative in Newmarket to join a fast-paced team dedicated to safe, efficient yard operations. The role offers training and development to help you thrive, with a focus on adhering to health and safety standards and supporting production targets.

Ideal candidates will work well in a team, show initiative, and have good timekeeping and communication skills. Prior yard experience is helpful, and a FLT license is a plus with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate designated work areas and equipment to maximise efficiency.

• Monitor workload, report issues to Team Leader, assist in meeting KPIs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
• Complete paperwork accurately and support customer-facing tasks when needed.
• Be open to training opportunities across multiple areas of the business.
