Job description

40 hours per week We are currently recruiting for a General Works Operative The overall purpose of the General Works Operative role is to effectively and efficiently undertake general building works within Valleys to Coast housing stock and other properties in a variety of disciplines working independently or as part of a team.

Ensuring all activities undertaken are carried out to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in accordance with existing legislation and the organisation's policies & procedures.

As part of the role you will support the management of the general repairs team by creating a high support, high challenge environment for colleagues to deliver the purpose of the organisation.

You will be required to ensure that all work is completed to deliver excellence, efficiency, integrity, compliance and quality.

You will also support the effective delivery of the operational plan, to demonstrate interest in the Bridgend borough, social housing and our customers.
