GSL Education is seeking enthusiastic General Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming schools in Wakefield and the wider West Yorkshire area.

This flexible full-time daily supply role offers competitive daily rates (£150-£180) and a September 2026 start, with ongoing consultant support to secure regular teaching opportunities across different year groups.

Salary: £150-£180 per day, dependent on experience

GSL Education is currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable General Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming and supportive schools in Wakefield. The Ideal General Supply Teacher Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Previous experience teaching within a UK school environment.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• The ability to confidently deliver lessons across different classes and year groups.
• A flexible, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to supporting pupils' learning and development.
• The ability to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• A fully checkable employment and reference history.
