Job summary

Your World Healthcare UK is seeking a General Sonographer to join a friendly ultrasound service in Central London on a long-term locum contract. The role offers an competitive hourly rate and exposure to NHS-standard practice in a supportive team.

You will need 6–12 months of general ultrasound experience, a postgraduate qualification in medical ultrasound, and current professional registration. Availability within 2 weeks and a minimum three-month commitment are preferred.

Job description

A well-managed and friendly team in Central London is looking for a General Sonographer to join their ultrasound service for a long-term locum contract. The hourly pay rate for this role is £30 - £35 P/H all inclusive.

Is this you?

• Have a minimum of 6-12 months of experience in general ultrasound, ideally in the NHS
• Hold a relevant Sonography qualification (e.g., Postgraduate Diploma or MSc in Medical Ultrasound) and relevant professional registration
• Be available to commence the role within a maximum of 2 weeks from the confirmation, and happy to commit to a minimum period of three months

A suitable candidate for the role will ideally have previous experience in a similar position and genuinely enjoy their work. This individual is suited to someone who is a good listener, a great communicator and has a natural interest in problem-solving.
