Job Overview

As a General Service Assistant, you will mainly be working front‑of‑house. You will support day‑to‑day operations by serving food and beverages to our customers, handling till work, cleaning dining areas and supporting both front and back‑of‑house areas. You will provide excellent customer service and report to the General Manager on site.

  • This is a part‑time position, 16 hours per week (weekends included). Shifts range between 07:30 and 16:00, leaving your evenings free.

A day in the life of a General Service Assistant
  • Serve food and beverages to customers, ensuring all health and safety protocols are adhered to and excellent customer service is always provided.
  • Stock up, rotate stock, face up, spot clean, and keep dining and serving areas tidy, both front and back of house.
  • Operate the till and process cash and card payments, ensuring accurate financial records. Serve on food counters and upsell products/sizes.
Required qualifications and skills
  • Must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have the legal right to work.
  • The ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
  • Previous customer‑facing or food service experience is desirable, but full training will be given on site.
