Our client, an award‑winning national dealer group, is looking for an experienced General Sales Manager to join their busy franchised dealership in Wigan.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver sales department volume and financial objectives.
  • Maximise enquiry management, sales conversion and profitability across all channels.
  • Lead, inspire and motivate the Sales Team.
  • Provide coaching and training to improve the sales process, customer satisfaction and product knowledge.
  • Use Monthly Accounts Reviews to monitor and control profitability of the department.
  • Manufacturer reporting and stock management.
  • Develop sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturers and suppliers.
Essential Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years current Car Sales Manager experience.
  • Franchised Dealership experience.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
Salary, OTE & Working Hours

Basic salary: £40,000
Uncapped OTE: £58,000
Company Car: Included
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 6:00 pm with one mid‑week day off every week. Saturdays 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Sundays 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Alternate weekends – 1 weekend on, 1 weekend off.
