Job summary

Locum People is seeking a General Radiology Consultant to work in Suffolk on a long-term basis within an established hospital department. The position is initially 3–6 months, with the possibility of extension.

Work 40+ hours per week with 10 PA per week and on-call duties to be confirmed. The role involves reporting on CT/MRI and plain imaging, with a potential sub-specialist interest. GMC registration and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Fully GMC registered.
• Provide contact details for two referees who can be contacted for references.

Responsibilities

• Work 40+ hours per week and 10 PA per week, with on-call duties to be confirmed.
• Support the existing backlog of medical image reporting.
• Report on cross-sectional imaging (CT/MRI) and, where required, plain imaging (X-ray).
• Demonstrate a willingness to report cross-sectional and plain imaging, with an ideal sub-specialist interest.
