A leading security service provider is looking for a General Purpose Dog Handler to join their Patrol and Response Team in Basingstoke, England. The position entails conducting proactive patrols, responding to alarms, and ensuring the safety of clients. Applicants must possess a frontline SIA licence and a full UK driving licence, along with strong situational awareness and communication skills. This role is vital for maintaining a high standard of security services.
We are recruiting a highly competent and professional General Purpose Dog Handler to join our Patrol and Response Team. In this role, you will conduct targeted and responsive patrols to support our clients across a range of functions, including lock-up duties, proactive estate patrols, lone-worker support, and alarm response.
General Purpose Dog Handlers and their Patrol and Response Officer counterparts are key frontline members of the team and report directly to the Regional Operations Officer. You will typically be vehicle-based, deploying from Salisbury, and performing a variety of duties across a typical 12-hour shift.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, confidence, and sound judgement, with the ability to remain calm, proportionate, and decisive, often under pressure.
Code 9 Security is an established and reputable security provider offering a full range of licensed services, including Security Guarding, Door Supervision, Close Protection, and Public Space Surveillance.
