A community health service provider in Oswestry is seeking a General Practitioner with an Extended Role in Gynaecology. This position supports Gynaecology clinics, requiring management of non-urgent gynaecological conditions and specific qualifications in Women's Health. This role offers a total of 8 hours and 20 minutes monthly, with a salary range of £76,038 to £114,743 per annum. Applications from all community areas are encouraged.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Advanced Primary Care Service to deliver Gynaecology clinics within a community setting based at Oswestry Health Centre.
This service provides an out of hospital alternative for non urgent gynaecology conditions, you will be supported by a Gynae Nurse and a Healthcare Assistant.
This position is for 2x 4 hours and 10 minutes clinic sessions per month.

You will need to be competent in managing non urgent gynaecological conditions and will have specific experience and training in Women's Health, preferably you will be an experienced pessary and coil fitter with up to date letters of competence, have experience of removing cervical polyps and interpreting histology. We also manage Vulval dermatological conditions, therefore you will need to be confident in diagnosing and managing these conditions.
