Job summary

The Garth Surgery in Guisborough invites applications for an enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our expanding practice for 4–6 sessions per week. We welcome applications from experienced and newly qualified GPs.

The post holder will provide NHS GP services with 15-minute appointments, using standard guidelines and local policies, and will work within a training practice that emphasizes learning and research. The team comprises 7 partners, 3 salaried GPs and 3 ANPs, supported by a proactive nursing

Qualifications

• MBBS degree.
• MRCGP qualification.
• Full GMC registration with license to practice.
• Inclusion on NHS Performers List.

Responsibilities

• Sessions are a mix of face-to-face and telephone/online consultations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Duty GP and patient triage.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and manage letters/test results.
• Contribute to enhanced service delivery.
• Home visits.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our expanding practice for 4 - 6 sessions per week

We welcome applications from experienced and newly qualified GP's.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will carry out duties expected of a NHS General Practitioner using expected standards in line with national and local guidelines and policy. We operate on 15 minute appointments and use Systmconnect for e-consultations and triage although we offer flexibility to patients in access to services.

About us

The Garth Surgery in Guisborough is nestled at the edge of the Cleveland hills and maintains access to major urban centres alongside spectacular countryside and the Yorkshire coastline.

We are 7 partners, 3 salaried GP's and 3 ANP's alongside a hardworking nursing and administration team. We are a training practice and active in research. We operate from a recently refurbished and extended practice building. We have a growing list of nearly 11,700 patients and use Systmone clinical software.

We are a member of East Cleveland Primary Care Network and our team is enhanced by ARRS professionals in supportive roles.

We are heavily involved in training and research, having been rewarded Primary Care Research Hub Status by the Department of Health.
