Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced General Practitioner for flexible primary care clinic sessions across Ventnor. This regional role offers structured, well-supported GP clinical sessions designed for autonomy within a stable service environment.

You will manage routine and acute presentations, conduct telephone and face-to-face consultations, and support day-to-day clinical operations within established primary care clinics in Ventnor, Isle of Wight.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered GP
• NHS Performers List inclusion
• Experience in primary care or community settings
• Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS

Responsibilities

• Deliver independent GP-led clinics within primary care settings.
• Managing acute, chronic and undifferentiated presentations.
• Conducting telephone triage and same-day access appointments.
• Prescribing safely within clinical guidelines.
• Handling clinical actions including results, referrals and medication reviews.
• Maintaining accurate digital clinical records.
