Job summary

Partnering Health Limited seeks a General Practitioner to join the Lymington Urgent Treatment Centre. Full-time or part-time permanent roles available, with a highly competitive salary. 3 positions offered with 1 part-time and 2 bank contracts.

The GP will join a multidisciplinary team delivering clinical assessment, governance activities and patient-centred care. The role requires GMC registration, GP accreditation, and experience in urgent care settings, along with CPD and strong governance

Qualifications

• GP accreditation and GMC registration required.
• Experience in urgent care settings (A&E, walk-in centres) preferred.
• Active involvement in CPD and governance activities expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis for patients in the Urgent Treatment Centre.
• Lead and coordinate care with the MDT and other health staff.
• Maintain high standards of clinical governance and patient safety.
• Liaise with relevant agencies and provide patient education for self-management.

Partnering Health Limitedhas a brand new, exciting opportunity for aGeneral Practitionerto join the newly mobilised service based inLymington Urgent Treatment Centre.You will join us on a full time or part time, permanent basis and you will receive a highly competitive salary.

Contracts available: 1 x Part-time (8.5 hrs per week) & 2 x Bank

About the General Practitioner role:

As a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, the post holder will provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients’ requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management. They will also provide a highly specialist resource to other healthcare staff, patients and carers and have active involvement in Clinical Governance/ Effectiveness activities.

General Practitioner (GP) Skills & Experience:

• Provide appropriate medical leadership
• Provide appropriate care and services to patients in all age ranges and level of health care needs
• Maintain clinical records either written or computer based in line with professional code and requirements utilising appropriate READ coding and other coding systems
• Liaise with all relevant agencies and services to promote knowledge and awareness of the Service
• Provide appropriate health education and advice to patients and carers to enable self-management and choice
• Work collaboratively with the Clinical Lead and the entire team to ensure that effective clinical governance is incorporated in the day-to-day practice in the Medical Service
• Develop and maintain high levels of communication with patients and carers ensuring effective care delivery

General Practitioner (GP) Skills & Experience:

• An experienced doctor with GP accreditation
• Current registration with GMC and NHS performers list (with no conditions preventing working or restrictions on practice)
• Experience if working in urgent care environment such as A&E, Walk in centres
• Record of on-going CPD and learning
• MRCGP examination or equivalent experience
• Sound knowledge of clinical governance
• Evidence of ability to maintain and monitor high standards of care
• Evidence of ability to direct and co-ordinate programmes of care working autonomously and collaboratively
