A healthcare organization in Waterlooville seeks a qualified individual to provide clinical assessments and treatments within the Primary Care Enhanced Access Service. The post holder will work as part of a team for the Primary Care Enhanced Access Service based in both Havant and Waterlooville. The post holder will provide clinical assessment and treatment for the delivery of a safe, efficient, and reliable service. They will work closely with the Clinical Lead and Service Manager, forming links and developing relationships with secondary care, GP colleagues, and the wider healthcare community. The post holder will ensure patients receive optimal care in the correct setting. Health policies and standard operating procedures will be adhered to and, if relevant, refined. In the planned primary care clinic, patients will undergo clinical assessment and review, examination, and appropriate investigations (e.g. x-rays, scans, blood tests); a diagnosis and management plan will then be agreed. On occasion, onward referrals to specialties may be required, and credible referrals will be expected. The service is staffed by a team of GPs, Nurses, Paramedics, Healthcare Assistants, and non-clinical staff.
