Job description

  • Role:GP/Health Screener

  • Locations:London. Sites available, New Broad Street, Canary Wharf, Bank, Tooley Street, Baker Street

  • Monday to Friday: 8am-5pm, or 9am-6pm. Within this time you get 1 hour for lunch, and an additional 1 hour of protected admin time too.

  • Contract Type:Permanent Salaried Role

  • Hours:Full-time or part-time (minimum 6 sessions per week)

  • Salary:£10,400 per session, per annum

What You’ll Do



  • Comprehensive primary care for an adult population who actively invest in their health.

  • As a GP, you’ll engage with patients, explore their medical history, address concerns, perform examinations, arrange investigations, provide guidance, prescribe, discuss medical options, treatments, and deliver expert advice.

  • Advanced health screenings, lifestyle & coaching conversations: Use extended appointment times to explore patients’ goals, support behaviour change, and develop actionable health plans.

  • Perform procedures; Blood draws, vaccinations, smear tests, prescribing, antenatal checks.

  • Leverage advanced diagnostics: Access HCA’s cutting‑edge technology and rapid testing facilities to deliver timely, precise results. With our Patient Navigation Team, your patients, if they choose, are booked swiftly into the care of leading consultants across HCA’s world‑class hospitals and centres.

About You



  • GMC registered and on the GP register (performers list not required).


  • Minimum 2 years experience post qualifying, Private experience desirable, but not essential, training given.


  • Must be able to conduct smear tests, bloods and ECGs


  • Basic level of Health Screening, full training will be given on the advanced level diagnostics, only associated to HCA Healthcare UK.


  • Strong communication and IT skills.


  • A proactive, patient‑first approach with a genuine interest inpreventative and lifestyle medicine. Must be a confident patient coach to change or influence behaviours.
