Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner to cover community health and primary care services across Cairnview Road on flexible sessional shifts. The role involves autonomous clinics, acute presentations, routine reviews and triage support, with emphasis on safe prescribing and clear digital note documentation.

Ideal candidates will work well independently in varied community settings, hold NHS Performers List, ensure indemnity and DBS clearance, and be able to respond to

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner with current registration.
• NHS Performers List status required.
• Experience in community, urgent care or primary care services preferred.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills expected.
• Ability to work independently in varied environments.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Running autonomous GP clinics within community health and primary care settings.

This role offers flexible sessional work across community-focused GP environments, ideal for GPs experienced in managing varied clinical presentations and supporting urgent patient demand.

You will contribute to community services by providing autonomous clinics, managing acute presentations, delivering routine reviews and supporting triage workflows.
