Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a GMC‑registered General Practitioner to provide flexible, sessional coverage across Haltwhistle and surrounding community health settings. The role focuses on autonomous clinic delivery, urgent case management and routine patient reviews in a primary care context.

The ideal candidate will have NHS Performers List status or eligibility, strong clinical reasoning, and the ability to work independently with robust DBS and indemnity protections.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner with current licence to practise.
• NHS Performers List eligibility or active registration in NHS system.
• Experience in community, urgent care or primary care services.
• Demonstrated strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in varied environments.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS clearance.
