Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is actively recruiting locum General Practitioners to work flexibly across the UK. This role offers both short-term and long-term assignments with NHS-aligned support, registration assistance, and wellbeing resources.

As a GP locum you will manage consultations, prescribe medications, and contribute to clinical audits within diverse settings, ensuring high-quality primary care on your terms.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
• MRCGP or equivalent.
• Current DBS check or willingness to undergo one as part of registration.
• UK Right to Work.
• Strong communication and teamworking skills.
• Experience in out-of-hours or urgent care settings.

Responsibilities

• Conducting consultations and managing acute and chronic conditions
• Prescribing medications and referring patients as appropriate
