Locum Ready in the UK is seeking an experienced General Practice Nurse for flexible regional sessions across Bordon. You will support GP teams with wound care, immunisations and routine nursing duties in well-supported primary care clinics.

This role offers autonomy with clear protocols, ad-hoc or ongoing opportunities, and a fully flexible sessional pattern across weekdays, evenings, or weekends. DBS required and EMIS/SystmOne familiarity helpful.

Qualifications

• NMC-registered nurse with primary care experience.
• Immunisation and cytology training desirable.
• Strong treatment room competency.
• Confident working independently within GP settings.
• Familiarity with EMIS Web or SystmOne.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Delivering treatment room procedures including wound care and dressings.
• Supporting chronic disease reviews in line with local care plans.
• Administering adult and childhood immunisations (if trained).
• Performing smear tests where cytology-trained.
• Conducting NHS Health Checks and routine assessments.
• Maintaining accurate digital clinical notes.
• Supporting general nursing duties as required by the clinic.
