We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Practice Nurse to join our Nursing and HCA team at Sutton Coldfield Group Practice (SCGP). At least 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse is essential. Experience in all aspects of treatment room nursing and ideally respiratory/chronic disease management experience would be desirable.
We are looking for a Nurse that can tick all the boxes, has good time management, knows all the jargon at an interview - but we also want a Nurse that cares, who puts the patient at the forefront of everything and has drive and ambition to make meaningful changes for the better. Job Summary
To assist in the care of practice patients to include treatment, preventative care, screening and patient education. The post will also include some administrative duties.
To act as a focal point of communication between patients, doctors, nurses and other members of the primary health care team.
To act in a professional manner at all times and adhere to practice policies, protocols and guidelines.
To work as an effective team player.
To provide continuing care to patients across the whole practice population.
To provide health maintenance and health promotional services to the well, offering educational supportive setting for patients to explore their health problems.
