Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is recruiting General Operatives for a busy vegetable production site in Thorganby. You will work on a fast-paced line, sorting, grading and packing vegetables, and ensuring quality and food safety compliance. Roles involve rotating shifts, including nights during peak pea season, with emphasis on reliability and teamwork.

Own transport is essential due to location. This ongoing temp-to-perm opportunity offers day and night shifts with clear duties and a focus

We are recruiting General Operatives to work in a busy vegetable production environment in Thorganby.

Pay: £13.45ph on days, £14.20ph on nights

Location: Thorganby, YO19 6DJ

Transport: Own transport is essential due to the location

Duration: Ongoing, temp to perm

Key Responsibilities

Working on a fast-paced vegetable production line

Sorting, grading, preparing and packing vegetables

Checking products meet quality standards

Operating production equipment safely, following training

Keeping the work area clean and tidy

Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures

Completing other production duties as required

Requirements

Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team

Comfortable working in a busy production environment

Able to carry out repetitive tasks

Flexible and available to work the rotating shift pattern, including nights during the busy pea season

Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality

Own transport is essential due to the location and shift times

Previous production or food manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential

Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday

Rotating shifts: 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm

During the busy pea season, you will also be required to work night shifts from 10pm-6am
