General Operative

Permanent – £24,761pa – Grantham

We require a General Operative with a Counterbalance forklift licence to join our exclusive client in Grantham to start Monday 5th January 2026.

You will be using the forklift counterbalance casually through the day (≈40%) while maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the site, tidying and cleaning the warehouse/factory (≈60%).

During the month of January you will also benefit from learning and training for the role from the current on‑site supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading lorries using a counterbalance forklift
• Loading the racking bays, moving items from the yard to warehouse/production areas
• Tidying around the warehouse: sweeping, filling and emptying bins and skips
• Picking up rubbish/debris, breaking up cardboard/pallets

Days – Monday to Thursday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm and Friday 7:30 am – 1 pm
