Job summary

A local employment organization in Belfast is seeking a motivated individual to assist in the assembly of furniture and participate in recycling operations. The role involves manual handling tasks, teamwork, and adherence to health and safety procedures. Responsibilities

  • Maintain good housekeeping of the work area.
  • Load and unload materials and products as required.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.

Job description

ULSTER SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT LIMITED – the role involves assisting in the assembly of furniture such as office desks, chairs and drawers. You will also help with the loading and offloading of deliveries onto lorries and breaking down cardboard ready to be recycled. You may also be required to work in our recycling operations, stripping mattresses into their components, shredding confidential waste, and recycling cardboard. The role includes manual handling tasks such as offloading lorries and lifting furniture.

Further Information

JobStart Opportunity – Working Hours Information:
Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week.
Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach.
Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability – to be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
