Responsibilities

  • Sort, repair, and manufacture pallets to meet specifications.
  • Set up and maintain efficient workstations.
  • Conduct checks to ensure tools are safe and report defects.
  • Follow daily instructions and complete tasks from Supervisors.
  • Maintain high output and product quality.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and wear PPE.

Job Title: General Operative

Hours of Work: 07:30 - 17:00, Monday - Friday

Salary: £12.65 per hour

About the Role

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable General Operative to join our Reconditioned team at our Bathgate site.

In this hands‑on role, you will be responsible for sorting, repairing, and manufacturing pallets using various tools and equipment. You'll play a key role in ensuring high‑quality output is maintained in line with production targets and customer specifications.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in what they do, and wants to be part of a supportive, safety‑focused team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sort, repair, and manufacture pallets to meet required specifications
  • Set up and maintain efficient workstations throughout your shift
  • Conduct checks to ensure tools and equipment are safe and report any defects
  • Follow daily instructions and complete tasks delegated by Supervisors and Managers
  • Maintain a high level of output and product quality
  • Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and wear PPE at all times
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area>
  • Work collaboratively to support team and site processes
  • Represent the company values in all interactions with colleagues and stakeholders
