A healthcare trust in North Cumbria is looking for a General Medicine Locally Employed Doctor Trust Registrar. This permanent position requires full GMC registration and offers experience in general medicine with acute inpatient care as a primary responsibility. The role includes supporting ward rounds, contributing to teaching activities, and engaging in quality improvement work. The post holder will be based on one of a number of medical speciality wards and may rotate between these areas to meet the staffing needs of the service and to allow enhanced training opportunities.
Educational supervision: an educational supervisor will be assigned to you to provide support. Appraisal is carried out at regular intervals and forwarded to the specialty lead.

You will need to be flexible and up for a challenge, working within a fast‑paced environment, with likeminded people and having the benefit of being supported by a fabulous team. You may be redeployed to alternative medical wards at times of increased staffing pressure; this should be seen as an opportunity to gain different skills and valuable experience.

£52,656 a year. Salary will be increased due to out‑of‑hours / weekend working.
