WELL Runcorn is a hub developed collaboratively by multiple partner organisations and the public across Halton. The brand represents organisations within the health, care and wellbeing, and education sector across the borough coming together to support the local population. As part of the Reconnecting Runcorn programme, the Hub supports regeneration of Runcorn town centre as well as providing a modern, accessible and purpose-built facility for people to attend appointments and seek advice for any challenges that may be impacting on their general health and wellbeing.
The service model is focussed on children, families and people living with long-term conditions. Providers, including NHS organisations, the council, education providers and the third sector (including voluntary and community organisations) will come together to deliver multiple integrated services including:
The WELL Runcorn general manager will be the lead in co-ordinating and facilitating integrated health, care, wellbeing and education services across multiple provider organisations. You will provide day-to-day management of the hub, supporting teams delivering services from the building to the smooth, safe and effective delivery of those services. The role will work closely with Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, who will act as the lead tenant for the building. The role will also work closely with other public sector and third sector organisations to maximise health and wellbeing outcomes for the people of Halton. An integral part of this role will be to ensure the safe and efficient running of the Hub, along with continued customer satisfaction and full utilisation of services and space.
