Job summary

SOLOS Consultants Ltd is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the delivery of a major Street Lighting Term Service Contract across Suffolk. You will oversee operational delivery, drive commercial performance and ensure client satisfaction while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive street lighting or infrastructure contract experience, and a proactive approach to health and safety. Competitive salary and benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading street lighting, highways, utilities or infrastructure contracts.
• Proven experience with contract P&L management and commercial responsibility.
• Experience working with local authority or public sector clients.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

• Proactive approach to health, safety and continuous improvement.

• Own contract performance, budgets, forecasting and P&L.
• Build and maintain relationships with the local authority client and key stakeholders.
• Ensure KPIs, service levels and contractual obligations are achieved.
• Lead, motivate and develop managers, supervisors and operational teams.
• Promote a strong health, safety, environmental and quality culture.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation and operational efficiencies.
• Produce financial and operational performance reports.
• Support future business growth through client engagement and tender support.

Are you an experienced operational leader with a strong commercial background in street lighting, highways or infrastructure? We are recruiting for an experienced General Manager to lead the delivery of a major Street Lighting Term Service Contract across Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile contract, leading operational delivery while driving commercial performance, client satisfaction, safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
