This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, hands-on manager to take a key leadership role in shaping the company’s future.

The Role

As General Manager / Store Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring smooth running of the branch while driving growth and operational improvements. You’ll lead a small, dedicated team of five, foster strong customer and supplier relationships, and play a central role in expanding the company’s presence and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of daily operations, ensuring the branch runs efficiently and profitably
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the existing team of five staff members
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Identify opportunities to grow sales and expand the customer base
  • Ensure excellent levels of customer service and operational standards
  • Manage stock levels, purchasing, and pricing strategies
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement process improvements
  • Take a hands-on approach to sales, customer service, and store presentation
  • Contribute to the company’s modernisation and digital development goals
  • Report directly to company directors on performance, sales, and targets
