Job summary

White Label Recruitment Ltd are partnering with a well-established pump service and maintenance business to appoint a Business Lead / General Manager. You will own the day-to-day operations, leading office staff, workshop personnel and field service engineers to drive performance.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on profitability, customer satisfaction and growth, while mentoring the team and upholding health and safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering or service teams.
• Commercial awareness with budgets and profitability responsibilities.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to build lasting customer relationships and grow business.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of a specialist pump engineering business.
• Manage office staff, workshop personnel and field service engineers.
• Drive operational performance, service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Take responsibility for budgets, profitability and overall business performance.
• Develop existing customer relationships while identifying growth opportunities.
• Support business development and commercial activities.
• Mentor, develop and motivate the existing team.
• Ensure high standards of health & safety, quality and operational excellence.
