Job description

We are currently recruiting for a General Manager to work with us at workplace site in Ware.

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to work with us at a lovely B&I site that is set across two buildings, walkable distance from each other that has a coffee shop, staff dining with breakfast and lunch and vending. We are looking for a General Manager to join our team in Ware.

Location: SG12 0DE

Rate of pay: £45,000-£48,000 per annum

Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 7am to 3.30pm core hours

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage a free issues food offer and drive a programme of vending and staff dining
  • Lead an innovative and controlled product range
  • Support the supply of a free issues coffee programme working with an experienced Barista team
  • Develop and sustain strong working relationships with the relevant clients at the individual business
  • Ensure that the client expectations of food and food service are consistently delivered and measured and are in line with the CHCO brand
  • Ensure the site achieves the financial targets agreed with the client in line with the fixed budget parameters
  • Provide effective performance management and appraisals to all Front of House staff in the business and the Head Chef
  • Ensure all staff carry out tasks in accordance with company health, hygiene, quality and safety
  • Effectively communicate with the European Hub of the clients business
