At Gather & Gather , we are known as one of the UK & Irelands most distinctive workplace catering experts, we are passionate about great food, great coffee and putting our employees and customers at the heart of everything that we do. We are currently recruiting for a General Manager to work with us at workplace site in Ware.

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to work with us at a lovely B&I site that is set across two buildings, walkable distance from each other that has a coffee shop, staff dining with breakfast and lunch and vending. We are looking for a General Manager to join our team in Ware .

Location : SG12 0DE

Rate of pay : £45,000-£48,000 per annum

Working pattern : 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 7am to 3.30pm core hours

Key responsibilities :

• Manage a free issues food offer and drive a programme of vending and staff dining
• Lead an innovative and controlled product range
• Support the supply of a free issues coffee programme working with an experienced Barista team
• Develop and sustain strong working relationships with the relevant clients at the individual business
• Ensure that the client expectations of food and food service are consistently delivered and measured and are in line with the CH&CO brand
• Ensure the site achieves the financial targets agreed with the client in line with the fixed budget parameters
• Provide effective performance management and appraisals to all Front of House staff in the business and the Head Chef
• Ensure all staff carry out tasks in accordance with company health, hygiene, quality and safety
• Effectively communicate with the European Hub of the clients business
