  • Overseeing the performance of the sites to ensure efficient production and accurate forecasting.
  • Reporting management information including production levels, parts, paint and staffing levels.
  • Effectively manage Bodyshop Managers to ensure production targets are met.
  • Work closely with Bodyshop Managers for performance management and development.
  • Identify and grow talent within the company.
  • Full responsibility for day-to-day running of the site, including health & safety and financial performance.
  • Set targets, monitor KPIs, and ensure work is completed efficiently.
  • Lead with strong cost control and productivity focus.
  • Participate in a hands-on leadership role across the business.

Overview

General Manager - Automotive De-Fleet Site (Overseeing the Bodyshop Managers)

£75,000 Base Salary • Newark on Trent • Monday - Friday • Permanent position

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the performance of the sites, ensuring efficient production and accurate forecasting
  • Reporting management information to include production levels, parts, paint and staffing levels
  • Effectively manage Bodyshop Managers, assisting them with day-to-day running of their sites to ensure production targets are met and colleagues are supported and managed in line with company policies, procedures and best practice
  • Work closely with Bodyshop Managers to ensure consistent performance management and development of colleagues
  • Strengthen overall capability of the company by identifying and growing talent with Bodyshop Managers
  • Full responsibility for day-to-day running of the site, including health & safety, financial performance, customer satisfaction, and team morale
  • Set targets, monitor KPIs, and ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards
  • Lead with strong cost control, productivity focus, and effective issue resolution
  • Participate in a hands-on leadership role with impact across the business
