This is an exceptional and exciting opportunity for an experienced General Manager looking to make a difference.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for all aspects of this large operation, leading the depot to deliver the required service levels to delight customers, managing resources and budgets to enable growth whilst optimising efficiencies, and driving improvements to key metrics and KPIs by embedding a continuous improvement culture. You will collaborate closely with commercial colleagues to drive regional profitable growth and with other operational leaders to share best practice and implement new technologies and ways of working.

Qualifications
  • Previous leadership experience in a fast‑paced operation and strong operational knowledge of warehousing or distribution, ideally within the FMCG sector.
  • Hold a CPC with O Licence.
  • Be IOSH or NEBOSH qualified (training will be provided if required).
  • Forward‑thinking individual, effective change manager, resilient, credible and composure under pressure.
  • Commercially astute, results‑driven and detail oriented, using data to support decision making.
