General Manager - 45 hours per week

We make amazing award‑winning beers and spirits from our home in Southwold, have some great shops across the region and operate some stunning pubs and hotels. What are we looking for?

We are seeking a competent, professional General Manager with a hands on attitude who can lead from the front to deliver the best possible customer experience to each and every one of our guests.

The ideal candidate will have a proven background and be experienced to a management level within the hospitality industry where you will be able to demonstrate previous experience gained in a similar environment. You will be passionate about people, service and food and be confident in managing and motivating a team.

All our properties are fabulously individual so we need a manager who with the support of the Central team will ensure their property is run with passion and precision.

As General Manager you must be self‑motivated

Using your previous experiences and knowledge to work closely with the team to ensure the highest standards of service are maintained. You will have a full understanding of financial budgets, rota and booking systems and will be able to identify areas that require further training and development needs.

With a positive outlook and attitude as this will directly translate to how the team deals with challenges and process changes and exceeds customers’ expectations. You will work calmly under pressure, be highly organised with take ownership of all operational standards.

Flexibility required to cover a variety of shifts per week including bank holidays and weekends.
