Set in the heart of Betws-y-Coed — the “Gateway to Snowdonia” — our newly acquired and soon‑to‑be‑transformed bakery to one of the most breathtaking hospitality settings in North Wales. Surrounded by the stunning Gwydir Forest Park and located beside a working train station, our site will serve both the local community and the thousands of adventurers who visit the area each year.

We are redeveloping the former Alpine Café into a flagship bakery destination featuring:

  • 200 covers
  • A grab‑and‑go outdoor kiosk
  • A beautiful orangery
  • Extensive outdoor seating front and back
  • A high‑quality, production‑led bakery at the heart of the operation (Rise)

With such a unique and high‑capacity venue, we’re searching for an exceptional General Manager to lead this exciting new chapter.

The Role

As General Manager, you will take full ownership of day‑to‑day operations, ensuring outstanding service, impeccable food quality, and smooth coordination across a large team. This is a hands‑on leadership role in a busy, fast‑paced environment where community connection, team development, and operational excellence are key.
