Lookers Motor Group Limited - Stoke Mercedes-Benz is seeking a driven General Manager to lead the dealership, oversee sales volumes and profitability, and drive customer satisfaction. You will manage resources across departments to meet business objectives and promote brand standards.

You will lead a high-performing team, coaching managers to deliver world-class service and maintain strong relationships with customers and employees, while championing EV initiatives and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop teams.
• Experience leading at General Manager/Head of Business level.
• Solid understanding of EV vehicles and automotive market.

Salary: Up to £85,000 OTE £130,000

Hours: 44 Hours - Mon to Fri 9.00am to 6.00pm (one late finish to 7pm and a day off midweek), Sat 9.00am to 5.00pm and Sunday 11.00am to 3.00pm (rota basis)

A rare and exciting opportunity has become available at Stoke Mercedes-Benz for a driven and talented leader to join our team as General Manager.

Your role as GM will be to effectively manage the resources within our Dealerships to achieve business objectives, including sales volumes, profitability, employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction and loyalty levels. This is a fantastic role for the right person to put their talents to the test, by enhancing this already successful business.

You will lead a highly motivated team in delivering world class customer service experiences, through efficient communication, team building, and coaching your managers and colleagues.

Experience / Skills Required

We are looking for someone who is already operating at General Manager / Head of Business level or is an experienced Automotive Manager looking to take their career in the industry to the next level. It essential that you have have a solid understanding of EV Vehicles

You’ll be someone who can demonstrate effective people management skills and has the ability and experience to draw the best performance from their team, as well as communicating effectively to build relationships with employees and customers.
