A local pub is searching for a passionate General Manager to lead operations at the Dancing Betty in Seaham. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities with experience in food-led environments. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing a delightful team, and engaging the local community. The Dancing Betty is a heavy food-led site based on the Dalton Park retail shopping park in Murton, which benefits from its day trade in particular from visiting shoppers and cinema goers. The traditional Marston's pub food menu is run alongside the successful carvery station. The dog friendly pub is a large community site with around 155 covers,and has a good base of regular guests and is well liked and used within the community, given its popular family food menu.
The Dancing Betty has an established senior team with a number of long serving members. The pub takes on average £40,000 a week made from mainly food driven trade with a 70/30 split in favour of food. We are looking for an experienced food-led GM operator, who can engage with the local community and drive additional trade in the evening with regular events.
Management accommodation is available in the form of 2 bedroom apartment above the pub with kitchen and bathroom.
