Job summary

A global services organization is looking for a General Manager to oversee cleaning and catering operations at RAF Odiham. Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of UK residency required due to security clearances.
  • Experience in management within the soft FM service industry.

  • Overall accountability and responsibility for the day to day management, co-ordination and control of Cleaning, Catering, Tailoring, Bar Work, Shops, and Café on site, including Cleaning Manager, Mess Manager, Catering Manager 6-7 supervisors and circa 60 on site staff
  • Maintain excellent client/customer relationships
  • Work in conjunction with department managers to plan, organise and coordinate service activity across the site
  • Active involvement, promotion and support of activities aligned towards employee engagement
  • To contribute to the growth of services in order to meet client and commercial expectations whilst maintaining strict budgetary control in line with client and Sodexo expectations
    Driving License is Essential
  • Due to security clearances you must have been resident in the UK for a minimum of 3 years
  • Knowledge and experience of working in a management role within the soft FM service industry
  • Leadership skills and knowledge
  • People management skills including general HR skills in recruitment, training and managing employee performance including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
  • Management knowledge of health & safety and food safety
  • Due to security clearances you must have been resident in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.
