General Manager / General Sales Manager in North Yorkshire

Monday - Friday core working hours (occasional flexibility may be required on Saturdays)

Salary is depending on experience £75k Basic, OTE £100,000

Our client, a leading supplier of luxury and high-performance vehicles and an independent specialist operating in the Prestige retail market is seeking a dynamic and driven General Sales Manager to lead their high-performing team and drive business success. This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll oversee daily operations, coach and motivate the sales team, manage stock and purchasing, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the sales team.
  • Set and monitor sales targets and KPIs, providing coaching and support.
  • Oversee stock control, purchasing, and vehicle preparation.
  • Drive performance through data, reporting, and management information.
  • Represent the company at promotional events and maintain high standards across all customer-facing areas.
  • Collaborate with the sister company to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and employment standards.
