Are you a people focused leader with a passion for delivering excellent customer service? We are looking for a General Manager for our Harlow accommodation site to oversee everything from facilities and services to commercial operations and community engagement. There's lots happening at the moment so the role would suit somebody who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and has a 'hands on' approach. You'll also need to be a true 'people leader' as you'll oversee the full HR function. Sound like you - then read on......

What youll be responsible for
  • Leading day-to-day campus operations across accommodation, catering, retail, and events
  • Overseeing the full HR function for all staff to ensure high performing, engaged teams
  • Driving service excellence and operational efficiency across all touchpoints
  • Managing budgets, contracts, and supplier relationships with a commercial mindset
  • Collaborating with academic and administrative departments to enhance customer experience and welfare
  • Acting as Safety Officer for the site
  • Organising facilities, resources, catering, staffing and logistics for all functions and events
  • Liaising with Marketing and Communications to develop & implement the marketing plan
