General Manager - FMCG Manufacturing

Location

Lincolnshire

We’re looking for a commercially sharp General Manager with a strong engineering mindset to run a high volume FMCG manufacturing site. You’ll be driving operational and commercial performance, increasing output, and ensuring customers get what they need on time every time.

The role

You’ll own the full site P&L and take charge of performance across multiple automated and semi-automated production lines. Key responsibilities include:

• Full P&L accountability and delivery of operational results
• Leading engineering driven initiatives to boost output, efficiency and reliability
• Managing a complex multi-line FMCG operation
• Overseeing automated production assets and ensuring peak performance
• Tracking yield, waste, downtime and labour efficiency through formal KPIs
• Maintaining a strong safety and quality culture
• Ensuring compliance with BRC, ISO and internal standards
• Leading cross functional teams including production, engineering, QA, supply chain and logistics
• Coaching and developing multi shift leadership teams
• Embedding continuous improvement focused on waste reduction, energy efficiency and process optimisation

What we’re looking for
