General Manager - Food Led Country Pub

Location: Wirral, Merseyside

Salary: £32,000 to £34,000 + 10% Profit Share + Tips

Employment: Full-time | Permanent | No Live In

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Full operational leadership with a focus on guest experience, team culture, and commercial success
• Managing all aspects of the food-led offer—from fresh menus to kitchen standards
• Driving sales through creative ideas, events (like quiz nights), and standout service
• Building strong ties with the local community to make the pub a true neighbourhood favourite
• Leading and developing a committed, motivated team with clear communication and purpose
• Taking full P&L responsibility — managing budgets, stock, rotas, and performance
• Delivering consistently high standards in both front and back-of-house
• Fostering a warm, welcoming environment where guests feel at home
