Job summary

Popeyes Louisiana Chicken UK&I is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to take full ownership of a busy Popeyes restaurant. You will lead a high-performing team to deliver exceptional guest experience, strong sales, and efficient operations across food safety, service speed, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has proven GM experience in branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual settings, with a track record of hitting targets, managing P&L, and developing talent.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant.
• Demonstrated ability to manage P&L, drive sales, and control costs.
• Strong leadership to develop teams and sustain peak performance.

Responsibilities

• Take full accountability for restaurant performance, including P&L, sales, labour, food cost, audits and brand standards.
• Lead and develop the team to unleash potential and ensure high standards.
• Recruitment, development plans and succession planning for the site.
• Deliver food quality, speed of service and guest experience to Popeyes standards.
• Control stock, inventory, ordering and waste to target.

What You’ll Do Here

• Ensure compliance with food safety (HACCP), health & safety, and employment legislation
• Full accountability for your restaurant’s performance, inc P&L, sales, labour, food cost, audit and brand standards
• Support and develop your team to grow their careers and unleash their potential
• Deliver Popeyes' food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards
• Own recruitment, development plans, and succession planning for your site
• Control stock, inventory, ordering, and waste to target
• Build rotas that balance availability, labour budgets, and peak trade
• Review performance data to identify opportunities and take action
• Bring the Fun and keep the energy high, the service smooth, and the culture poppin’

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant
• Ability to deliver quality, safety and cleanliness standards at all time
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs
• Experience with labour scheduling, stock management, and inventory systems
• Strong people leadership, you've built teams and developed future talent
• Experience in new-site openings or multi-site environments is beneficial
• The ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
