Job description

We're hiring an experienced, hands‑on General Manager to take full ownership of a busy, reservations‑led restaurant in Paddington.

You’ll lead the Front of House operation, elevate guest experience, and drive commercial performance year‑round.

What You’ll Do
  • Run end-to-end FOH operations, ensuring consistently excellent service and smooth shifts.
  • Recruit, train and develop a high‑performing team; embed H&S and hygiene standards.
  • Partner closely with the Head Chef to keep FOH/BOH collaboration tight.
  • Own key metrics (guest satisfaction, drink GP, labour/staff costs) and read/act on the P&L.
  • Take part in regular performance and financial reviews with senior leadership.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years’ GM experience in quality, high‑volume restaurants.
  • Strong food & wine knowledge; confident floor presence and guest rapport.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and great at motivating teams.
  • Comfortable interpreting P&L and making data‑led decisions.
  • Calm, positive energy in a fast‑paced environment.
