Main duties of the job

As a General Manager you will:
• Lead and inspire a team to deliver excellent person-centred quality care in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment.
• Oversee ongoing recruitment, retention, and development of staff.
• Act as the focal point for contact with residents, their relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals.
• Ensure safe staffing levels and manage costs within budgetary controls.
• Provide inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.

About the role

Your focus as General Manager is to lead and inspire a team to deliver excellent person-centred quality care, meet regulatory and statutory standards, and achieve business performance targets.

  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, person-centred care based on best practice.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop staff.
  • Act as focal point for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals.
  • Maintain safe staffing levels according to occupancy and dependency.
  • Provide inspirational leadership to the staff team.
  • Manage costs within budgetary controls and monitor stock.
About you
