We're looking for a General Manager for a popular community pub. Salary up to £40k plus bonus and a generous benefits package.

About the pub

The Fox & Hounds, St Mellons has arisen due to an internal move. The last time The Fox & Hounds was 10 years ago, so this pub is an exciting challenge. The Fox & Hounds sits in the village of St Mellons between Newport & Cardiff on the old A48. This picture-perfect pub has bags of character and an amazing enclosed garden.

The Fox & Hounds attracts a variety of customers from locals, ladies who lunch, special occasions, families, dog walkers and weekend celebrations. It offers a company food menu with the option to add on a rolling specials menu. The Fox & Hounds currently averages £22,000 in weekly sales with a 65/35 dry to wet sales mix.

This is a perfect opportunity for a food-focused manager who is looking for their next big adventure. Ideally the successful candidate will have experience of running and driving a very busy food-led business to take the Fox & Hounds to the next level!

Management accommodation is available in the form of private and generous 3 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and living area.
